We had 12 replies out of the 30.
So the 12 members that responded we'll ask you to be part of the video logging...which takes a little commitment.
On Monday - I'll assign 12 separate video's to have logged between now and the first week of January. The goal is to assign drop down comments for each important hand...to summarize what happened.
We'll then be able to clip similar sections of video, and allow the POD's to create reference material surrounding that material.
The critical aspect of this is to have a coordinated spreadsheet and then get er done.
If you didn't post a reponse here - but would like to be part of the process (i.e. part of the 50 factors breakdown) then PM or email me for consideration.
I'll be going back through your membership application to see which video coaches you prefer and assigning video based on your criteria, buyin etc.
Once we have to the video's assigned, we'll discuss on Monday how to coordinate the spreadsheet...Once that's complete - we should be able to start presenting some factors in the new year.
Again, thanks for participating.

Wow just reviewed the document, great stuff Mark and everyone. I really never imagined there could be so many consideration in a simple game involving TWO cards, but it's true.
I can't really think of much to add right now since you covered it so well... maybe bankroll management and when its time to move of or take a shot. How do you know when you are ready to move up permanently.
Satellite strategies because I think these are so different from you typical mtt's as you don't have to win the tournament just survive.... if only I could fold my QQ tonight in the $700 pca qualifer with 140 left, I had good chips and call his turn shove on the dry 8-high board to the preflop raiser who I had position on and he showed me his two ACES.
Really looking forward to what's ahead for the syndicate.

first thought is that an awful lot of work went into this. Great job Mark.
Second thought is we all face a long and rough road. I know i keep thinking I just need one or two things to turn the corner. But after reading this I think maybe not.
Couple of thing I would add.
Under "Finding opportunities" add 3 betting, 3 betting light
Somewhere add hand reading. And in this vein just how important is hand reading especially at the levels most of us play. Sometimes I get the feeling that at these levels there is almost no way to read an opponent's hand. So much trash is played with little or no thought I think you can drive yourself crazy trying to hand read. I will try to do this, putting my opponent on a strong hand only to find he had A high w/ no draw.
A discussion on relative strength of raising, vs shoving, vs over betting. I know the shove is very popular but sometime I feel that it looks bluffy while a normal raise looks stronger. Would like to see more on this.
All in all I think it is a great launching point and I hope we can break it down and assign it so we all benefit from it

I absolutely love the vision. I recognize the tremendous need the industry has for this "Championship Model". The further we go on the Syndicate here the more easily I see this becoming a very concrete reality!
I have a suggestion for another factor. How about luck? As in Contribution to the Poker Community + Gratitude for What Poker Gives You +Your level of focus towards your goals = LUCK factor. Theory and supporting and oposing support for playing "Card Rushes", etc. Luck factor can be a leak for people too. They called the 3 flush board with their TJ because they just "felt" like they were going to hit the gutshot.
As far as measurement of all the factors goes, I see that as just being a quiz format in the different areas. Ex: "What most resembles your standard play when x occurs?" For each answer a certain point total is assessed. A total score of 1-20 may be achieved for each category.
Now, to measure our progress and prioritize our focus, we can use these numbers to create a Pie chart or "wheel" containing all of the factors. The idea behind the wheel being that a smooth wheel represents a more effective and winning player than a rough wheel. Example: 1)A pie chart / Wheel like the following would not roll very smoothly or be that effective: Mathematics of Poker: 17 Mental and Focus : 6 Hand reading : 15
Vs.
Mathematics of Poker: 12 Mental and Focus : 12 Hand reading : 12
The second example, although less talented in some areas, would represent a more effective and better earning player (in my opinion). A measurement system like this would allow players at all different levels prioritize exactly where they need to be spending their focus.
I could go on. This site is headed for something big I think and it's exciting. But I must get some sleep. Ttyl

Thanks Mark for all the hard work on the document, well done looks great. I look forward to the upcoming discussions and the growth of this doc. I think other member’s have added some great ideas, I don't think I could any different ideas at the moment but I am looking foreword to working with my Pod and helping develop this into a great tool we can all use to be successful in the game of poker and in life.
Thanks Agian and gl at the tables

I think the 50 Factors was an outstanding body of work - that I didn't grasp the first time around. While I like the immense breakdown of the game - I am not sure I have to really review physical health (I know I am out of shape) that being said - the 50 Factors will serve as a framework going forward and we'll populate the database with additional factors within factors ..... if that make sense.
In addition - we'll create a HAND board - where you can reference starting hands and how they were played - even though they might involve situational poker .... i.e. RR 3Bet - 4 Betting Light. So in that case - a hand or article might appear in both forums.
How do I play AK with Short Stack and how to 4 Bet Light....if you follow my train of thought.

Hi Steve - see you are ready to go. Can't wait, just let me know what I can do to help. Have added some things to the 50 factors for myself. Also am doing some things based on Fox's weekly seminars. Look forward to working with everyone. Amy

Thanks Amy, I am playing with the framework for Video Review, and have a Form link posted on the front page of the TPS blog. Using that link, if we can somehow - log the video - then after the initial six video's (over 12 weeks of course) we should have the ability to spot trends, identify the proper way to pay certain hands.
At that point, we can start to populate the factors, and move comments and Hands over to each appropriate forum.
I look forward to working with you on this....we'll talk soon.
