QUICK POT STEALERS
1. Shaun Deeb quits MTT Poker (suggested by Shaun) does playing too much burn you out? 2. How many BB should you have in your roll to consider playing at what level? 3. Best video teacher on PXF? Best on the WEB? 4. Best structure in Tournaments Online - FULL TILT or POKERSTARS 5. Can we stereo type Euro's vs. NA players as being looser and more bluffing or is that over rated.....

What makes a better poker player Intuition or Math based?

When do you decide its time to gamble in a Poker Tournament?
To get a discussion going:
1. Your are dealt AKd on the button, a solid player puts in a EP raise and a tight player puts in a raise about triple the orginal bet – facing a RR in middle position…what do you do?
2. You open the pot for a standard raise in Middle position and the Button flat calls…the flop comes A – J – 8 Rainbow and you lead out with a pot sized bet…the button makes a big reraise…your action?
3. There is one limper in the pot and you have pocket QQ in middle position. You make it 4x the BB and the limper flat calls your bet. The flop come 9-4-2 and he checks and you make a pot size bet, the limper then reraises 5x your bet. Your action?
4. You have A5o and dealing with 2 limpers while on the button. You flat the two limpers and the SB and BB call. The flop comes A – 9 – 2 rainbow – the small blind checks, the BB bets about a pot size bet and it is folded around to you?
5. You have 99 on the button and two limpers come along for the ride, knowing that one will call any raise you make and put you in a 50/50 race situation….to double up to X BB? Do you make the all in play?

I think we need a little more info on some of these hands...
1. What are effective stack sizes (or M's)? My decision with AKs there will look a lot different if I have an M of 2, 8, 12, 20, 40 (or a billion, in which case I can flat call to hit the royal).
2. Have you intentionally left out our starting hand?
3-4. Need to know stack sizes I think, or we can give answers for different stack sizes.
5. A little more detail about what you know about the limpers ... for the purpose of the exercise do you mean that we somehow know that (A) one limper will call us with overcards, and (B) the other limper will fold with an unknown hand. And yeah, probably need to know stack sizes, stage of the tournament, how happy we are with our table, etc.
I'm not saying you need to tell us this info before we can talk about the hands - obviously I'm talking about them - I'm just throwing out some thoughts on what I would want to know before making a decision.
