Just won Step 6 for entry to the $5k Venetian tour

After establishing myself as the forum-nazi about which kind of HH belongs where, maybe I'll get in trouble for posting a Single-Table win here, but I can hardly post it in the "Derailed" forum...

I jumped into a Step 6 tournament because I saw a few weak players signed up, along with three of the usual superstar/degenerates that always troll the Step 6 tournaments: "jorj95", "Octavian_C" and "LoneHixx". $2100 buyin, top 2 finishers get $5k entry into Venetian NAPT event plus hotel room plus $1110 cash; 3rd-4th get $2000 cash. I think I played pretty well, and was fortunate enough to win 2 coinflips in the late stages (one with extra equity - JJ > AK > A5 to knock out jorj95 and Octavian_C). There was some spectacularly bad play ... extra credit to anyone who can correctly identify the "It's ICM, Idiot!" donkalicious play of the year...

STEP 6 WIN

If anyone will be in Vegas late February, let me know. This will be the main event in the Venetian Deep Stack tournament series, so there will be a bunch of medium-buyin tournaments leading up to it.

That's not a bad guess - I think LoneHixx's call (or his reraise with no fold equity - same thing) with AQ is pretty bad against the action in front of him - the chance that either of us has QQ+ or AK seems pretty high, and even if he ends up in a coinflip with my dead money it's a bad spot ICM-wise.

But that's not the supreemo-donkalonkalonk ICM-idiocy play...
