I hear ya Bish, I have been in a slump for over a year (last meaningful score in a MMT came in 06/2008). Been keeping afloat by the occasional SNG win or cashing small in MMT's. This is why I joined this group I thought it might help me pull my head out my ass and get back to playing good and hopefully great as I feel I have once played. Concentration is one of my worst problems so I hope we can beat this all become winning players again.

I will tell you trsportsman that just after I posted this I made a real effort to concentrate cut back a tournament so I only had a couple running and cut some of my chat down and it really helped, going to the final table in one and a medium cash in another. All I can say is every one goes through it and the only thing that helps me is knowing i am making the right plays or at least learning from wrong plays. so keep playing well and variance will come complete circle for you. I know it of little conscequence now but things to turn for the better

I did the same I cut it down to 2 tables, 1 just missing the money and the other went pretty deep before screwing the pooch! Made a valiant effort and came up a little short. The one thing I have found out about variance at the micro levels is the circle is really, really big lol. Thanks for the encouragement and good luck at the tables.

Hihihihi Do I need a break? Hihihihihi
Here is the deal. Played a pretty much last couple of days. I have really enjoyed the chat and learn a lot about bet sizing and stacks implications. Got some great support to make one deep and have tried to sharpen my game to bet more and to be more aggressive.
I just busted $4 1500 player tournament after the late registration. I played tight and aggressive and when I was in the hand I keep the pressure up and it worked really nicely. Had +9K stack (+100bb) and blew it in two hands. I just switched gears and went with my read and priced myself to call on turn. Next hand I had 2nd nut flush draw in 3-way pot and didn't make it.
Normally I would be really piss ed to myself after doing something like that. Now I am just laughing here.
Maybe I need few days brake to let new betting really sink into. And start to think how villains are gonna change their game when nit turns aggression.
But it sure was fun and felt hilarious, lmao ;D

And as always all feedback is appreciated.

hey Eemil
sometimes its good to step back i think only you know i always have a hard time stepping away (definite leak ) but i like to work through new stuff and may cut down my volume while i am working on it.
We are all different and work through these things in our own way probably doesn't help much but dont sweat the mistakes just learn from them
