Sometimes we forget how well we run to get where we end up in a position to win a tournament.
At this point in the 40k 3$ REBUY on stars - I had run extemely well. Getting in on 70/30s and winning regularly.
No one sucks out on me - my Ak vs. A10 holds, my 10 10 vs AQ winner, 99 vs. AJ winner, and on and on.
I get some railers - they wish me luck - i don't need luck I say - I am on fire tonight.
Finally with 14 BB I get it all in for 350k against chip leader SB vs. BB...AQ vs Q10.
The dreaded 10 hits on the river and I am out in 37th place. Double up puts me top 10.
In the end, I did run like a Deere.....so I guess I can't complain.
More importantly I learned the lesson - on order to win a turbo like this - you need chips where you can be in the situation to call down vs. put it all in and wish.
Regardless - If I ran like that every night - look out.
