Would like to keep the meetings to an hour - hour and half...and we had some great input....please feel free to make suggestions here - especially after we've had our first call.

If you guys haven't watched 'The Haj School' on Deuces Cracked (episodes 1 thru 8) I strongly recommend it before launching into this. Episode 5 in particular talks about running private discussion groups like this one but the whole series is worthwhile as it inlcudes how to get the most out of study components including sharing hand histories, forums, making and commenting on videos, one on one and group coaching, and much more. Steve they have a week free if you don't have a membership so you could easily cover the content from that series within the free trial. The HH post I saw this morning tells me we could save a lot of time and keep focus if members watch that series. Also they have ipod compatible downloads so you can down load the series and listen in the car as it's mostly audio rather than visual.

I thought there might be some info out there...my biggest concern is being "all over" with the discussions, and it getting to general. I'd love to see those vid's and will do so before setting an agenda and getting group ready for next monday. I know my time is precious, I'm sure everyone wants the same - maximum benefit for commitment. We have a great group and I owe it to all of us to keep this tight and organized.... Thanks McLucky...appreciate the heads up. We'll watch and get some ideas...encourage others to do so as well. In addition, a lot of the syndicate has mentioned what they are looking for and while we can't incorporate (read make everyone happy) we all want the same result regardless of our starting point....to become better, and learn how to win. To that end, I have some relevant HH assignments I've asked some of our top players to complete and be ready to present. I also am working on a "Championship" model which I'll share in our first round table. |
