I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post - if a new forum is created for specific links to articles or resources (as opposed to general websites), feel free to move this post.
In this afternoon's podcast the subject of satellites as a method of building a bankroll came up, and I mouthed off about how I have at times considered myself a satellite specialist, and I mentioned a great article from 2+2 that I think any satellite player should read.
Following are a collection of links to resources for satellite players, one of which is a self-serving link to my own blog post describing my suggested method of winning a WSOP seat online. Most of this stuff is a couple of years old, so you might run into some specifics that are out of date, or some dead links, but the strategy info should still be solid...
[All text in blue is a link to an article]
A guy called Adanthar (now an instructor with CardRunners) wrote some good stuff on 2+2 about satellite strategy. The first post was just about why big sats awarding lots of seats are good.
Then a year later he wrote a new article that has more valuable strategy ideas.
This is my blog post about WSOP qualifying (which contains links to the above articles, as well as a link to a PXF thread where I show a hand history full of horrible satellite bubble mistakes).
This article on pocketfives is also good if you skip the stupid stuff at the beginning
These last two don't add much to the above, but they're worth reading:
www.pocketfives.com/poker-articles/satellite-tournament-strategy
betting.betfair.com/poker/web-watch/sorel-mizzi-on-closing-out-satellites-200308.html
[Later edit: potblack added the following link to the list, which looks good:
