I would fold I think your too deep to put your whole stack at risk with JJ, unless your opponents a total maniac.

but if you're right about that range....
equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 36.717% 35.57% 01.14% 186397548 5985282.00 { QQ-77, AQs+, AKo } Hand 1: 63.283% 62.14% 01.14% 325596912 5985282.00 { JJ }
then i guess it was a bad fold.

Several thought s on this hand.
1. I like the HH format - which one is this sick? I think we should standardize on this format (without the hand result). It's much clearer than some of the others. Anyone agree?
2. I've seen this type of spot several times in other forums and have heard some interesting pro thoughts on it. Specifically with these types of stack sizes.
First off with no reads / history this looks like a situation where the SB's shoving range is much wider than you might think because a) He has the stacks behind well covered and b) your flat actually encourages a squeeze shove especially if the opener has been active and / or you have been floating / flatting raises rather than 3betting. A line to consider here is the unusual 3bet minraise or just over because it commits the opener (because of his stack size) to 3bet shove or fold. Obv your decision to call a shove from MP1 is read dependent here however it would only cost you say 1600 chips to get this situation - providing no one squeezes behind.
BTW I really think we need to not post the hand result. Have said this before but maybe it got lost in the thread. The result influences the feedback on the hand far too much.
Hope your still running good sick.

thanks! i was a proponent of this format since the start because i think it has certain advantages. 1. you have to make an account [ free ] to post hh but it saves the hand in your account forever 2. it looks nice 3. yeah u can hide the name/result etc. www.pokerhand.org -- what do u think steve? can we make a sticky to make this the standrad hh convertor? i think my read was dead on but not based on player but on general trend. people are not shoving AA/KK rarely QQ but alot of JJ 10 . that's kind of my view of his range. i inster the outcome because he shows AKs which was exactly what i though he has [ i was realy partial to AK ] why i folded? well, because i though i had enough chips and power to win chips in other ways without winning a flip. nevertheless, this might not be a good idea because u anyway have to flip sooner or later. but flips late in the tourney are more important than flips early [ i'm guessing this is obvious to everyone ] but i read an article before about something like that: u are on the first hand of the WSOP main event. u have 10 000 chips 25-50 blinds. the sb goes all in in you [no limpers ]. u look down at QQ. what do u do? now, the sb is a weak player and by mistake he reveals his hand: AKs. what do u do now? most players would say, i fold. it's too early to play a coinflip i can outplay my opponents. but the article argued that actually YOU are no that good and you SHOULD take the flip.I tend to disagree but maybe this guy had a point. that's basically the reason why i posted the hand. thanks for the answers and looking forward to hear from you.
